Drawn2Art offers a variety of seasonal and summer camps for students who are interested in using different mediums, such as clay, sculpey, and paper sculpture.

These camps are designed to broaden perception, abilities, and affinity for many different media, as well as spark a desire for future investigation and learning as a young artist. We offer half and full day camps, as well as one day and weekly options. All camps are for ages 6 to 17.

Ethan, Age 9, Acrylic

Anime & Cartooning (Ages 6+)

  • Learn the fundamentals of traditional American & Japanese-style cartooning.

    • Evoke humor through exaggeration

    • Learn techniques for creative character development

    • Proportion of anatomy learned

    • Make your very own Anime style self- portrait.

Awaken the Force (Ages 7+)

  • Become the art master of your favorite space characters.

    • Sculpting methods are taught to create your favorite characters.

    • Learn to draw favorite characters using multiple mediums

    • 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional skills learned to create a galaxy far, far away!

Cartoon Clay (Ages 7+)

  • How rewarding for young artists to see their favorite cartoon characters & their homes sculpted in clay!

Classic Clay Sculpture (Ages 8+)

  • This camp allows students to learn basic sculpting methods that transform materials.

    • Learn to make a bas relief landscape

Portraiture (Ages 10+)

  • Tired of making stick figures?

    • Learn the fundamentals of drawing portraits focusing on the proportions of the head, hair, and facial features using graphite charcoal and pastels.

Heroes and Villains (Ages 7+)

  • Embrace your inner hero or villain in this camp!

    • Learn to draw your favorite characters using a variety of techniques and materials.

  • Learn to draw and sculpt your very own monster!

    • Design your very own monster creature.

    • Draw your monster creation and then create a 3-dimensional sculpture.

Pirates & Princesses (Ages 7+)

  • Join us for a voyage into the world of pirates and princesses:

    • Create a clay treasure chest or castle and figurines.

    • Make a paper mask & crown or pirate hat.

    • Design a pop-up pirate or fantasy scene and drawings.

Printmaking (Ages 8+)

  • Students learn to execute printmaking techniques to enhance their abilities with this art form:

    • Make images novel to Printmaking.

Catch ‘Em All Palette (Ages 7+)

  • Learn a different medium each day.

Storybook Multimedia (Ages 4-6)

  • Early developmental skills are promoted for independent learning in this camp:

    • Multi-media drawing and painting

    • Favorite characters learned

    • Improves small motor skills

Marley, Age 6, Clay, Sculpey and Marker

Under the Sea (Ages 6+)

  • Through art, visit the beach, the sea and ocean creatures. Take home ocean friends.

    • Design and paint your own sea monster.

    • Learn how to sculpt and paint a sand castle.

    • Make a shark or fish hat out of paper construction.

Walker & Cassity, Age 10, Mixed Medium

Wizarding World (Ages 8+)

  • Embrace your inner witch or wizard and make your world a little more magical (muggles invited along as well).

    • Use sculpey, paper, pencils, and colors to create your favorite characters and monstrous (or quite fuzzy and harmless) beasts.

    • Send your friend a pop-up owl letter

    • Learn to draw your favorite house “symbol.”

  • Celebrate being grateful by bringing art to your Thanksgiving table. (Projects are based on length of camp).
