Hello, my name is Genesis, and I am honored to be the master student artist here at Chino Hills Drawn2Art. I have been a part of the Drawn2Art family since 2017. I was just six years old when I started. It’s crazy how time really does fly! I still cannot believe I have been here this long, and I have loved every minute! Drawn2Art is like a second family to me. The teachers are amazing, and I appreciate all the work they do for their students. They make Drawn2Art feel like a safe space for students where they can express themselves freely. They have also provided me with guidance and instruction that have shown me how I can improve my skills as an artist and are a big reason why I love art and have become such a capable artist. 

I feel incredibly lucky to have found art. It is my passion and happy space. Also, it has helped me expand my connections with others. Even though I’m quite an outgoing person, I feel it can be difficult to find those who truly recognize talent, hard work, and overall like me for me. But that is where art has come in and allowed me to build some solid and meaningful relationships with people. I have made friends purely from us sharing art with each other. That is what makes art so powerful in itself, and that we as artists can connect through our creativity, even though we have nothing else in common. Although I love art, there are some other things I enjoy doing, including hanging out with my friends and family, playing tennis, listening to all different types of music, and sometimes even doing photography. Whatever my future holds, I consider my time here at Drawn2Art as a valuable experience that has helped shape me into the person I am!
