a. How long has the student been with us? The age they started.

Carina started classes at Drawn2Art in 2013 at the age of 6. She actually took her first

class in April 2013, a month before she turned 6.

b. Current age

18 years old

c. Why have they been at Drawn2Art for so many years?

Carina has stayed at Drawn2Art since she began at age 6 because of the excellent

curriculum and wonderfully supportive teachers.

d. What do they like the most about art?

What I love most about art is how it is such a diverse world. There is no one “right” way

to create art, no one “right” subject to sketch, or paint, or sculpt - what matters is that you

find a way to engage with the process of creation and find joy in that process.

e. Other interests, passions?

My other interests include dancing, singing, cooking, gardening, reading anything from

Edgar Allen Poe to C. S. Lewis, learning new languages and exploring the natural world

and all of its wonders.

f. Any other interesting information on your student or their future plans.

Carina has been a summer aide at Drawn2Art for the past two summers. This summer,

2025, she will have the opportunity to teach Drawn2Art summer camp classes. Carina is

honored to have the opportunity to work at Drawn2Art because it combines two of her

passions - art and working with children.

Carina is a student at Arizona State University and is majoring in Psychology. She

would ultimately like to work with neurodiverse populations and those who are disabled.
